Last Home Game
Today at work was a little bit better than most days. We all left at about noon and went to the Detroit Tiger's last home game of the season. Sure they lost 4-2 to the Chicago White Sox and they're under .500 again, but it was still nice to get out of the office and enjoy the chilly but sunny day. Did I mention I still got paid? :) There was a downside however, my sweet Kara was not able to attend, she had to work. I really wish she could have been there with me.

Saturday Night With Our Mom's
Kara and I had a wonderful dinner with our Mom's. This was there first time meeting one another. They seemed to hit it off pretty good, not that we were worried or nothing, because they're both pretty easy going. We picked up my Mom first then went to Kara's Mom's house and had a few drinks. We then headed out to Applebee's. Where we had a few more drinks. The food was really good and everyone was stuffed. We all had a good time.

This is crazy!!
C'mon now!! This is a gas station down the road from us. I never thought I'd see the day we'd be wishing gas was $2.50 a gallon. I understand that hurricane Katrina put a hurting on oil lines on the east coast and all, but they say the price won't be coming down anytime soon. It's funny how the price went up the week before a big holiday weekend. But anyways... I'm not one to normally complain, but when I drive about 500 miles a week back 'n' forth to work it starts putting a dent in the pocket book.
